Lugol’s iodine?
12.5mg of Lugol’s iodine daily is recommended by “iodine literate” doctors. (2 drops of Lugol’s iodine), should be taken in a little water or milk every day. Excess iodine is excreted and does not have any toxic repercussions. It is made out of two types of iodine: 10% potassium iodide (ideal for making thyroid hormones) and 5% elemental iodine (best suited to the breast, ovary and prostate tissue) in 85% water.
In South Africa most chemists do not stock Lugol’s iodine, but can order it for you. Some of them will make it up for you.

1 How long does each test take? thermography about 45mins from arrival, filling in data sheet then disrobing and having the thermogram done. Obviously the more infrared photos are taken on request of patient, more time, if patients want not just mammogram (R600) or half torso (R800) or whole body (R1000) .
2 Do you do the diagnosis and will you refer on if any problems? Definitive diagnosis requires careful full history, examination, blood and tissue tests (which are not part of the thermography screening booking). . All that such screening shows is whether there is suspicious heat pattern to indicate possible pathology- be it infection, pre/cancer or other inflammation eg active arthritis, and therefore whether further clinical consultation- investigation is advised.
We also offer remedies to reverse nuisance breast changes long before cancer becomes visible. The same applies to bones at risk.
3 Will all medical aids will pay up? Because South Africa has no effective government or Statutory regulators, no new diagnostic procedures have apparently been registered here for years. Thermography still has no procedure code for medical schemes- The industry is negotiating on this. It is up to individuals to motivate to their medical scheme for payment benefits at far lower cost than say that of the now thoroughly discredited xray mammography costing ~R1000. There are vast references on the internet validating thermomammography and now SureTouch as being better let alone far safer than xray mammogragraphy.

We will come and do non-xray ultrasound bone density risk measurement BMD at clinics on request, 4 booked patients per hour, allowing 30mins for the patient to be briefed and fill in the Questionnaire, have the measurement done, and then a final debriefing with Dr Burman about the result (not a full consultation, which can be booked for when appropriate).

I do SCIO and I study SOLAL (natural supplements) which assists greatly in building up knowledge in terms of how the body works/preventative and anti-aging medicine and principles. They also work more on the concept of being preventative – which I agree with completely “Your Health is Your Wealth”.
I also did courses of braingym® – which also assisted me in understanding how the brain works and how these exercises can help with all kinds of problems – but more children specific.
My philosophy is to use the Scio as both stress detector and releaser, but gaining insight on the imbalances of the client and addressing these holistically. I try and combine/find links to see if there is an underlying emotional issue – Yes Scio works and we need supplements to assist us to keep healthy, but we also need to look at underlying issues that “sabotage” us and then make the client aware. Example – I find there is often ( not always, but often) a link between Adrenal fatigue and a lack of support – so the client must address that as well, together with regular Scio sessions and necessary supplementation when needed. Anyone suffering from celiac disease is sensitive not only to the gliadin

I had severe digestive issues for many years in my teens and early twenties. I
thought it was IBS, but when I landed up in hospital with bleeding from my
intestines five years ago, as well as a severely compromised immune system, I
was diagnosed via blood test by a gastro-enterologist as having celiac
