OUR PEOPLE

TAMMY JOINS THE TEAM

We hijacked one of our best friends from her job in tele-sales at NSRI. (Please don’t stop buying tickets now!) People often phoned her just to hear that laugh! Tammy Beckx is now helping us in our ever expanding business with orders and general tasks. The place is running like a bomb and we get to hear that laugh every day. Welcome Tammy!

Jim and Michelle

The family forms the nucleus of our company. We work as a husband and wife team. Our daughter Vivienne helps us with computer technology, desktop publishing and web design. Our son Anton is also in the computer business and provides technical support as well as a helping hand with the products. A close circle of family, friends and many volunteers make valuable contributions to our product research. Sue’s sister Lyn is an avid home researcher and a shining example of how medical detective work can be done. Sue’s  parents are in their late seventies and eighties yet they still hike, camp and swim like twenty year olds. Her mom grows special Cape Fynbos herbs for our products and her dad makes components for some of our equipment.

Marketing is contracted to distributors, retailers and sales representatives. Jim controls the administrative side of the business with his assistant Michelle, enabling Sue to have more time for research and product development. The products are manufactured at a Pharmaceutical factory under strict supervision although Sue spends hours on product development in her own kitchen. She also cooks in the evenings, serving new “formulations” to the hungry hordes.

NATURE FRESH REACHES OUT

We are often asked to advertise in magazines, at a great cost. Sorry, but we do not sponsor with advertising as our prices have to stay in line. Products for giveaways can be negotiated, providing they can be associated with the article I write for you. A variety of popular topics can be accommodated, especially for women’s health, men’s health, children, diets, diseases, hormones – just ask! This is a great part of our community health and customer service: free of charge, providing the link to our website is given for further research and for references. Please inform us when you publish items from our website as they may need to be revised or updated. On certain topics, new articles are constantly being written as information streams in.

Radio talks: Sue still contributes to the weekly Thursday health talk on dish satellite: channel 60 when invited. Many other radio stations have hosted her interviews. Topics have included hormones, diabetes, osteoporosis, etc. On hour long shows, the information discussed is available on our website for sharing, free of charge.

Radio 786: For over 7 years, listeners have enjoyed Health Focus every other morning from Sue Visser with various presenters. As a backup service to these talks, Sue provided free notes, workshops and talks whenever asked. She also wrote countless articles to explain diets and health procedures to the community. Over time, she was so inundated with requests, she wrote the book: Healthy Happy Eating. This book contains all the tips and anecdotes that listeners have enjoyed over the years, plus an easy guide to blood type diets.

The reason Sue no longer is heard on 786 is because she cannot afford to pay the radio station an exorbitant fee to give a free health talk. She then has to spend many hours on the internet to attend to health queries the listeners have. “Sorry, I know many of you keep telling me you miss me, but it’s about money! If a good sponsor is available, we can talk again!” Other radio stations have never demanded money of us.
